When I think about my favorite types of food, Thai is at the top of the list. On any given day of the week you will find me at one of the many Thai restaurants in Boise. Just as humans need water to survive, we also need Pad Thai to live (wink).

1. Boise Thai Noodle House
Authentic Thai food cooked by Chef Don, Nam and Pitsy who came here from the central and northern provinces of Thailand. Opened in 2018, they make some truly amazing food. This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants.

Pad Thai House is a staple here in Boise. They are known for their incredibly delicious and affordable lunch specials.

3. Mai Thai
If you are looking for a Thai spot that does it all, Mai Thai will fit the bill. They offer an affordable lunch option, along with a refined dining dinner option.
Their food is exceptional and is an elegant night out with the family or with your significant other.

4. Thai Cuisine
As a regular customer, I have eaten almost everything on their menu, my favorite items are the Tom Ka soup, Pad Thai and their Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp.
Dont forget to order the Mango sticky rice for dessert, its somewhat of a spiritual experience, enjoy!

5. Thai Bistro
This bistro was founded by local Boise foodies who wanted to create a special Thai focused spot to enjoy fine recipes and an enjoyable dining experience.
Their menu includes traditional Thai fare including some amazing curries and noodle dishes. This place is worth a try!

6. Thai Basil
Authentic thai food incorporating key ingredients like basil, ginger, galangal, lime and lemongrass. Their goal is to balance all aspects of sweet, spicy, salty, sour and savory to create a delicious thai food experience. This thai food restaurant makes some amazing grub!

7. Ling and Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill
All things Asian here at Ling and Louie’s including some great Thai dishes like pad thai, shrimp and scallops and my favorite, honey walnut shrimp.
You will love the variety of Asian dishes offered here. they have a well stocked bar with some amazing signature drinks, enjoy!

8. Chiang Mai House Thai
No frills authentic Thai cuisine. Traditional recipes like papaya salad, Tom Yum soups and their famous sizzling rice soup, this place is all about the food. Affordable prices and great lunch specials, this is a great place to get your thai on, you will love it.

9. Bangkok Thai Restaurant
By far a favorite of mine, chefs make some of the best pad thai and fried rice dishes I have ever seen. Healthy menu of vegetarian and vegan items. Great lunch specials and they are a solid neighborhood Thai restaurant in Boise.

10. Nahm Thai & Burmese Cuisine
A wonderful secret here in Boise, Thai Burmese cuisine shares it’s influences with India and China, creating a dynamic combination of flavors not found anywhere else in the world.
This is by far one of the most unique types of food I have tried. Limited hours for lunch and dinner.
